# Gross. Natalist Conference Is Returning to Austin with Race Science, Eugenics.

Since neither tax incentives nor government propaganda are solving the country’s fertility crisis, self-described proponents of eugenics and race science will gather to think of solutions at a [natalist conference in Austin](https://www.natalism.org/?ref=thebarbedwire.com), as was first-reported by [*The Guardian*](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/mar/03/natal-conference-austin-texas-eugenics?ref=thebarbedwire.com).

Returning for a second time on March 27-28, the [Natal Conference](https://www.natalism.org/?ref=thebarbedwire.com) features speakers from race-science influencers to the founder of a startup providing IQ screening for IVF embryos, according to *The* *Guardian*.

Peachy Keenan, a pseudonymous conservative writer, is also on the list of speakers. [*Politico*](https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2024/04/28/natalism-conference-austin-00150338?ref=thebarbedwire.com) reporters concluded that Keenan spelled out the group’s larger goal in her speech at the inaugural conference. Essentially, outbreed the liberals (and other people you disagree with, or, you know, want to stop procreating.)

This year, the symposium will be held at the AT&T Conference Center owned by the [University of Texas at Austin](https://meetattexas.com/?ref=thebarbedwire.com), with dinner at the Bullock Museum of Texas History across the street. Kevin Dolan, who [*The Guardian*](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/aug/09/deznats-religious-extremists-mormon-vision?ref=thebarbedwire.com) found to run a large Twitter account in the far-right “DezNat” movement in 2021, organized the event.

Prominently displayed on the website is a [post on X ](https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1784768522645889111?ref=thebarbedwire.com)from Elon Musk, who shared a video of Dolan from the 2023 conference, saying that “if birth rates continue to plummet, human civilization will end.”

Musk, now a father of [14 children,](https://www.reuters.com/world/us/elon-musk-has-another-child-boy-2025-03-01/?ref=thebarbedwire.com) is an outspoken pro-natalist. One, however, that musician [Grimes](https://people.com/grimes-pleads-with-elon-musk-to-stop-ignoring-her-about-their-child-medical-crisis-11683855?ref=thebarbedwire.com) and influencer [Ashley St. Clair](https://people.com/ashley-st-clair-sues-elon-musk-for-sole-legal-custody-of-their-son-rsc-11684615?ref=thebarbedwire.com) have accused of neglecting his Quiverfull of kids.

Besides extending an invitation to Musk to attend, the Natal Conference said his staunch advocacies [inspired](https://x.com/natalismorg/status/1784770669416214978?ref=thebarbedwire.com) the birth of the conference.

Other speakers at this year’s conference include [Jonathan Keeperman](https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/may/14/far-right-twitter-identity-revealed?ref=thebarbedwire.com), who [*The Guardian*](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/mar/03/natal-conference-austin-texas-eugenics?ref=thebarbedwire.com) reports is behind the “L0m3z” X account and right-wing publisher Passage Press, as well as Jonathan Anomaly, a supporter of “liberal eugenics” and [former senior staff member at Heliospect](https://www.theguardian.com/science/2024/oct/18/us-startup-charging-couples-to-screen-embryos-for-iq?ref=thebarbedwire.com), according to the *paper*.

Standard tickets to the conference cost $1,000 but purchases will [“require approval.”](https://lu.ma/zw2e4lff?ref=thebarbedwire.com)
